Question
A rectangular loop of wire with sides 0.19 and 0.37 m lies in a plane perpendicular to a constant magnetic field (see part a of the drawing). The magnetic field has a magnitude of 0.70 T and is directed parallel to the normal of the loop's surface. In a time of 0.19 s, one half of the loop is then folded back onto the other half, as indicated in part b of the drawing. Determine the magnitude of the average emf induced in the loop.

Hi,
Well, This seems strange because if I'm not mistaken, and induced emf will need a change of magnetic flux and this changes by two ways: changing magnetic field or/and change of area, and neither of that is happening. In the first part there's magnetic flux but this not changes, and in the second part there's no area. Thus I would say there's no induced emf.
Hope I'm right, good luck!
