Question
Hi please help me with this question, please answer me. Thank you so much!
I have some problems, because I am obsessed with the dangers of the A.I., in fact, every day I wake up and think about that they will be better than us in everything, and that they will destroy us, I think that humans are creating our destruction, for example there are companies trying to create a general AI, or also AI that can create other AI's, robots that can perform a backflip, do you think that robots Will be better than us in things as parkour etc?, and so on. Each day that I want to do something I feel sad because I think that in the future a machine will do this better (even to be an engineer, I think that engineers will be replaced), if I want to produce music in guitar or in computer I think that a machine can do it better and faster and that in the future this work will be of machines (Search about the AI that did a script for a movie in only seconds, or for the cognitive music of watson and Andres Cepeda), these things have my life very frustrated, I want that you help me to forget and overcome that problem because I'm going crazy. maybe you can help me with some exercises or explanaition. I know that you can say that I need to go with and specialist(as a psychiatrist), but I can't say , hi doctor, I think that the machines will destroy us). please help me. Now I dont want to study or train because I think that we will lose in everything.
Now, a few days ago was showed the chess machine that has "intuition" a quality very human. and only in 4 hours learned to play and win to the most advanced machine. I am so affraid

Because I am affraid that in one of the videos a man says that the AI thinks very fast, in the time that we do something they can develop things very better. I think that we are so intelligent but I am affraid. Please help me.

Explanation / Answer
Solution:
Seems like an irrational fear that you possess at the moment. This is a result of a certain thought that once occurred and thereafter it became a pattern of thinking, causing you to repeatedly get stuck in that cycle of thoughts. The evidence may support otherwise and you may subconsciously know that machines cannot replace human element this easily, primarily because machines are our creation and man may not lead to self-destruction in this ruthless manner as is being thought of. Although many new ideas are suggestive of the fact that artificial intelligence may take over the world, like many other thoughts it is a hypothesis in many ways. One reason is that many a times, trial and error leads to an understanding that the cost of a certain implementation is much more than it is likely to benefit. This may reduce it's implementation value & regressed steps may be taken to undo the damage. Also, it is okay to be scared and worry, however it should not be to an extent that it starts interfering with the different domains of your life and your general functioning. If that happens, it is certainly a cause for concern and the distorted thoughts need to be rationalised and altered by a professional therapist. Even if one goes ahead and informs a therapist that you fear something that may sound irrational/paraoid, they aren't likely to judge, they are there to help & make a change.
