1. After identifying the target behavior, find out the possible and strong motivation for the behavior change.Write down the plan of action.

2. For reducing coffee consumption,let us take a 30 days action plan.Take small steps that is decreasing the amount of coffee each time,and the increasing the interval till you succeed in your target. Fill the triggers with creative things that interests you more as reading, listening to music,or learning an instrument etc.

3. Write down the possible hurdles in attaining the target along with a possible solution that you would be trying. As for example failed in the first few attempt when the interval was increased,but overcame it when the amount of coffee taken was decreased and slowly the want for it decreased and gradually gave up. Or for every trigger think for an alternative as the need of coffee in the morning exchanged with a long walk, excercise or meditation or prayer.

4. It is worthwhile because it gives us control over our habits, creates a more strong will and determination and will motivate to use it in future to give up the unhealthy habits that may be harmful to us.
