The aim of substance abuse treatment should be for the society hence non profit organization and something for the society completely. In case of substance abuse a person is likely to get attracted towards addictions again due to peer group or any disppointment. The center should open or have 24/7 helpline, so that the cilents can reach them.
The primary interns or new joinees, should keep record of clients and follow up with them to check control towards addiction. If the client reports any kind of problem, then it should be reported to senior members.
Senior members should take over the followup case, and should investigate why there is any problem, reason behind the problem. The senior members shoud do primary or basic counselling and should tell client to avoid the substanse abuse. If possible the senior member should meet the client face to face as this discussion is more effective.
If the problem is still out of hand, the higher authority should look into it. Then various counselling techniques etc should be used and if necessary the person should be re admitted.
