Dr Murtaza Akhtar, head of surgery at the hospital, said: 'She was complaining of consistent pain in her abdomen and she had urinary problems with high fever. 'Then we found a lump on her right side but we feared it was cancer.'After she went for an MRI and CT scan we could make out that it was actually a matured skeleton encapsulated in a calcified sac. 'When we asked her for her medical history she told us that she was pregnant in 1978 but her child had died. 'She told us she had got scared and went home to her village without ever removing the fetus. 'She only took some treatment from her local a health centre. According to the case given, the client has ectopic pregnancy, here a pregnancy in which the fertilised egg implants outside the uterus. The fertilised egg cannot survive outside the uterus. If left to grow, it ,may damage nearby organs and cause life threatening loss of blood. So my opinion is risking her life is not worth for the died fetus. So The client might experience postnatal or postpartum depression.It can effect women in different ways. In this phase, many women feel a bit down, tearful or anxious in the first week after the surgery or giving the birth. Symptoms like loss of interest and no longer enjoying things that used to give pleasure, lack of energy and feeling fatigue, insomnia, feelings of guilt, hopelessness and self blame, thinking about suicide and self harm etc., There might be post operative biological changes in her such as post gastrointestinal motility, bone demineralization, dumping and re-resection, as well as on the affected pancreatic function, postoperative weight loss and remnant pancreatic fibrosis.
