Ans 1: The blood coagulation factor found to be deficient in hemophilia are factor VIII, IX and XI.
Factor VIII deficiency known as Haemophilia A
Factor IX deficiency known as Haemophilia B
Factor XI deficiency known as Haemophilia C
The factor level would be low as compared to normal individual. If it is lessthan 1 percent it will be known as severe haemophilia, between 1- 5 is moderate haemophilia and more than 5 - 40 is midhaemophilia. These patients have high tendency of bleeding.
