Explanation / Answer

1. Hypopituitarism is a condition in which you have a short supply of one or more of the pituitary hormones. This deficiency affects a number of your body's routine functions, such as growth, blood pressure, and reproduction.

2. Overactive Pituitary Gland i.e. Hyperpituitarism is most commonly caused by noncancerous tumors. Due to this condition, the gland secretes too much of hormones related to growth, reproduction, and metabolism etc.

3. Caring for patients who have had removal of the pituitary include; providing hormone supplements after the removal and looking for recurrence by measurement of the appropriate hormone level in blood or urine. Nonsecretory tumors, MRI scan is the best method to follow this type of growth for recurrence.

4. Diabetes insipidus is a disorder in which a person's kidneys pass an abnormally large volume of urine that is insipid—dilute and odorless.
