It includes the economically disadvantaged, racial and ethnic minorities, the uninsured, low-income children, the elderly, the homeless, those with HIV, and with other chronic health conditions and also severe mental illness.
Under Five Children: In India we have children representing 39% of total population of the country. The figures show that the larger number of about 29 percent constitutes Children in the age between 0-5 years.
