She has been diagnosed with asthma and complains of shortness of breath while exercising, so tends to avoid it. She has no other medical history. The patient lives with her mother, baby sister, two brothers, and grandmother in a suburban neighborhood. The mother is single and works to support the family. The grandmother cooks for the family and takes care of the patient and her siblings after school until her mother gets home. Mom is also obese but grandmother and the siblings are normal weight. The patient's school district has recently cut its physical education programs. The client enjoys playing outside after school, but her grand- mother makes her come inside after a short time to do homework. After homework she is allowed to watch TV. -The environment of not keeping a check on the calorie intake, plus grandmother not allowing to play outside but making the client sit in front of computer / TV.
-Screen time being 4—6 hours is also a major contribution factor for obesity.
-The school reducing its physical activities has given its share in the client’s obesity.
-The client being a shy child and having minimal friends has let her to keep to herself and not involve in physical activity adding to obesity.

-Involve fruits and vegetables in diet
