This semester, we examined the changing landscape of the health care system. A new emphasis on coordination of care, integration of services and the importance of provider teams is already influencing the organization and structure of health delivery systems. These changes come in an effort.to increase quality and efficiency and reduce disparities. How will these changes affect YOU? Many of you have indicated that you are pursuing careers in the health care field - how will these changes affect your career? Do they affect how you see yourself as a health care professional? The ever growing health care industry is moving drastically faster than the previous decades. The transition from. Care to quality care to cost effective care and the demands of the public remains a changing factor. Because of such changes ,the healthcare industry had became so competitive in nature to provide the best care and reach the ladder of success . The services are delivered in such a way that the clients are amazed by the speedy delivery,advanced technology and different services under a single roof and timely report dispatch. There are numerous departments work in a integrated manner for effective healthcare management.

It can affect me in a better way because of the way services are delivered. The life in this world is moving in fast pace whee spending time on healthcare itself is a problem. So, integration of services can deliver quality as well as less time-consuming.

These changes on healthcare professionals can have positive impact ,because of the availabilities of ample opportunities to access to different modalities and learn accordingly. It can create wider scope for gaining knowledge. So,it can bringing positive effects on learning. However,the student needs to be passionate to excel their skills and develop a good culture to teach others.

As a customer, it will be very useful to achieve quality services which is well determined and integration in services helps to work in collaboration between the physicians as well as the other inter departmental team members. For example patient who has been diagnosed as colon cancer can able to receive treatment into medical,surgical or radiation or palliative therapy ,if available in a single organisation. Moreover,the doctors can discuss the case management well who are from different faculties. So, it will be effective and helpful for the patient and their attenders. Unfortunately, in such system of healthcare delivery, the cost for the services are seemingly high because of its easy accessibility.
