Explanation / Answer

I chose the nursing profession because I wanted to do something in my career that is challenging, interesting, and makes a difference in people's lives on a daily basis. In the nursing profession, nurse deal with patients and their families and help them to deal with critical situation in the life.

According to me a nurse should have compassion towards patients and families. Nurse should care about patient's physical health and also should boost mental health of the patients. Nurse should educate and support the patient and family of their choices and options.

Nursing profession is often challenging and usually nurse has to work long hours. Nurses should act wisely during adverse conditions. Most Often, relationships cannot happen with patients because they are focused on their own healing. Nurses should stick on to their beliefs and should hang onto when we lose a patient or when a patient makes us happy and then moves on as their health improves.

Our belief of nursing must go beyond the day to day beliefs you carry and conduct yourself with in order to stay focused and effective. We should act with prudence when a difficult medical situation happens. Unexpected things can happen any time in nursing profession, so one should be much focussed in decision making. Practise and experience make a nurse perfect, so when you go through hardship just ignore it considering it as a stepping stone to success.

Nurse should learn to become a team player because we are always a part of a team. We should respect our colleges and when there is a chance should learn and grow with them.
