Explanation / Answer

1) According to me the statement that information is the lifeblood of the modern medicine and HIT is destined to be its circulatory system is a perfect statement because without this system neither individual physician nor any healthcare organizations can perform at their best or provide high quality care but I don't know why number of hospitals and doctors in US that have adopted this system is so less.

I think this statement is true on a great extent because using HIT will be the milestone in the healthcare industry starting by EHR that is electronic health records is very important to store the data and communicate with other health professionals. Without HIT the information conveyance can't be improved. That is why David Blumenthal said that information is lifeblood of modern medicine and HIT is destined to be its circulatory system.
