You work in a clinic primarily serving an indigent immigrant population and you hear one of your coworkers comment that “it’s a waste of time trying to do health care with these people because they don’t follow through with their care and they just drain resources we could use for those more deserving.”

There has always been racism towards type of people in this world. To make it less you have to fight against it. So if you work into the clinic that works for poor immigrant and you have the coworkers that do not support and care for the patients then you should advice the coworker not to do such behavior to the people involved in this situation you should more care for the patient to improve their mental condition because of such racist behavior. You should educate people that not one would waste the resources just because they are poor. It is about humanity after all.
