There have been many media reports regarding the rise of discrimination against Arab-Americans in the United States since the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks. After the 9/11 Terrorist attack, the rise of discrimination between the Arab and the Muslim-Americans have been increased enormously. After four long years the radical assaults, Muslim, Arab-American workers persist to account inequity on the work. But accused carry on to approach in, representing that Arab-American and other workforce still experience differentiate against. Many types of discrimination such as racial discrimination, employment discrimination, religious discrimination etc was faced by the Arabs after the attack
Many of Muslim workers as according to a report argumentative about the employment discrimination as they said the co- workers called them terrorist and episodic the Muslims to take entreaty fractures in an office and complaints against the discrimination especially at the workplace was rising at a very fast rate. Even reports clearly suggests that Americans was feeling guardedness towards the Muslim after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Such cases are daily reported in United States after the attacks. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission set up to fight with the employment discrimination in the workplace. As according to E.E.O.C there was about 20% increase in complaints of discrimination. Now, E.E.O.C has taken up the responsibility to reduce or prohibit such discriminations at the work place. (Kern-Rugile, 2001)
Administrations also make efforts to make stronger the law or to sustain the certain policies like
Strengthen fortification in the place of work: In this Law it is given that all the employees in the workplace would be treated equally both in terms of wages and promotions. Also the Federal Bureau of Investigation takes steps to make sure that the Civil Rights would be equally followed for all the citizens working in the organization. No such discrimination would be exercised in any organization i.e. every organization must treat all their employees equally. (Malos)
