Company: XYZ Airlines Company in India
Various environmental forces that created immense opportunity for my opportunity.
The purchasing pattern/ selling of more air tickets have happened. There are more people of all segments purchasing the tickets of XYZ airlines company.
Social: The Flight operates in such a way that even the socially conservative family has started patronising the airlines. This is due to various factors---the airline had changed the attire of the cabin crew and also the way they greet people in proper Indian Style and using Regional languages for conversing with people to make it comfortable. The marketing efforts in this direction particularly informed the prospective customers about this particular specialisation and this led more people who are very shy and very closed door to come up and travel through this airline. Its important to remember that this was a very big factor that led to a change in the revenue. There are many people in India who can afford the luxuries etc. but due to the closed door and uncomfortableness that they feel airlines is not a suitable option for them as they would be mocked upon. But our airlines, right from the beginning i.e. from the step of entering the airport to boarding and departing the airport, we make our customers feel at home.
Economic: There was another important factor that led many people to embrace at the time, because we offered a lot of discount and lot of offers that suited the budget of many people and also accordingly led more people to choose our airlines for travelling. Plus, also many people more frequently travelled due to the affordable budget.
Political Factor: The political factors also contributed to growth of the airlines. The civil aviation policy had changed. The change that was introduced was that that the journey through airline which took less than an hour could not exceed a certain level of tariff. Therefore, the policy change at the political level affected positively our company.
Technology: Technology has always been a positive factor which has given confidence to our customers. Our company through our marketing efforts such as an interview in a magazine etc. and technological blogs have always highlighted about the new technology that we embrace and how it leads to safety of our customers. Therefore, this way the customers get knowledge about the way our company and the way we care for our people. Thus, this positively affects our company.
Regulatory: Regulatory abidance is one key feature that led many our company to pass in all the assessment tests of the regulators and the ratings possesed by us. The marketing team, highlighted the trend in our consistency in our grades and also improvement. This is another highlight that helped our company.
The above factors have built in the differentiation strategy that the company employs...Basically winners do not different things but do things differently. This is what differentiated us from our competitiors.
