Now that your company has relocated you overseas – let’s discuss compensation. How did the company reward you for taking on this assignment? What benefits did you gain or lose? Initial post – Since your imaginary boss has relocated you and you negotiated a good deal, how has this move improved your work/life situation? What will happen when you finish your oversea assignment and return to the company headquarters? What factors would make you interested in staying overseas past the end of your assignment?

Overseas assignments always teach very valuable lessons that we all cherish for whole life, so overseas assignment itself is a great thing to do. The benefits i would gain were free housing allowance, Relocation package, Two way ticket for every 1 year, Salary bonus. I things i lost were ofcourse we have to live far away from all our friends and relatives.
The work life situation is great in new country, I am getting used to new culture and new way of doing things in this country, It is also very different from assignments that we take in our home country.
The most important factor would be savings that i make overseas, the other important factors include standard of living in foreign country, allowances that company provide and also oppurtunities in that country.
