Large-scale globalization beagn in the 1820s. The term globalization establised its meaning in the 1970s and at first it was confined to Asia, North Africa, Middle East and certain parts of Europe.

2. Like Nationalism, Globalization is concerned with the construction of barriers of various kinds - False.

Globalization is an economic process of integration that has social and cultural aspects. It is associated with goods and services and the economic resources of capital, technology and data. So it is not concerned with any barriers.

3. Globalization is most similar to migration.

The four basic aspects of globalization identified by International Monetary Fund (IMF) are i.trade and transactions, ii. capital and investment movements, iii. migration and movement of people and iv.dissemination of knowledge.

4. The organization which replaced GATT (General Agreement on Tariffs and Tradein 1995 was the WTO(World Trade Organization). WTO provided a framework for negotiating and formalizing trade agreements and a dispute resolution process.
