Question
A classic example of decision analysis using maximum payoff is medical treatment versus prevention. Many healthcare organizations and professional groups face this difficult decision. Describe the process of coming to a decision about whether to screen for a particular disease versus treating individual cases of the disease as patients present for care. In addition to the important example presented in your textbook, consider and discuss at least one other common disease and how you would decide to screen or not to screen for that disease. Your response should be at least 200 words in length.
Explanation / Answer
As we all know that precaution is better than cure this line is best suited in this example because falling ill and then distroying your health and routien will be a bad thing for you, and this will harm you in many ways, also this will cost you higher when you go to a doctor so it would be better if you first take precaution and try to save yourself from any desease. similarly this happens in any organisation also that before any problem occurs you should be ready with a decision or step beneficial accordingly. like a health organisation should work on treament as well as prevention programme for any desease. this is a big question we can take any of the desease you yourslf can understand tht these both things require equal attention. if something happens there shoud be a ready cure and if something has'nt happend then you should be prepared with prevention.
