Environmental protection has become one of the important topics of concern these days considering the fact that our environment is getting deteriorated with every single passing day. There have been many meetings between the various countries of the world on this issue, The recently concluded one is the Paris Summit in December, 2015 which has been now signed by over 170 countries.
Issues between the developed and developing countries has been an important matter of concern. While on one hand developing countries emphasize on setting differential targets for them considering various structural changes going on in them ti increase growth. This leads to setting of higher targets for the developed countries. Fund transfer by developed countries to developing countries has also been an important issue. Developed countries are reluctant to transfer more funds to the Environment funds created in order to help the developing world to reduce emissions.

Low income countries emphasize on the fact that since the industrial revolution came late in these countries as compared to developed countries, there should be differential targets set for both considering some leverage for developing countries. Also, they emphasize on Technology and fund transfer from the developed world for environment protection.
