Collective bargaining

We know that collective bargaining means that a process of negotiating the terms of employment between an employer and a group of workers. The negotiation we means that it includes the items which is the condition of work, working condition and other working condition rules, the scale of pay, actual working times, total sick leave, vacation time, the retirement benefits and health care benefits. The collective bargaining process include five major steps. That is,

1. Prepare the negotiation.

It means that the composition of negotiating team. The representatives of both parties with adequate knowledge and skills for negotiations become a team. Both of them are studied the current problem faced by the company.

2. Discuss the negotiation

This is the second stage of process. Here the both parties decide the ground rules for the negotiation.
