I expect at least 1 paragraph responses for each question. Most of this assignment is not about getting the right answers, rather I am asking you to be honest. Did you find it convincing, or were you turned off by it? Why? However, I expect you to draw on other things we have learned from in the class, in order to answer question 4.
1.How does this documentary make you feel about climate change? Does it make you more or less likely to believe that action needs to be taken to deal with climate change?
2. How would you try and alter the views of someone who is skeptical about the reality of climate change? Do documentaries like this help? Would you appeal to their wallets, their emotions, their culture?
3. In dealing with climate change, what should we try and emphasize: the need to maintain a sustainable economy, a sustainable environment or a sustainable society?
4. Identify some of the ways the documentary links climate change with other issues we have discussed in class. Choose at least two examples, and explain the links.
Explanation / Answer
1. The documentary takes our mindset towards the issue of climate change and how this effect our econony and thus our society as a whole. It tries to summaries the problem of growing pollution and climate change and their adverse effect on the cliamte and on the conditions which we are going to face in our future. It also encompasses the economic affect of sustainable development clubbing environment and other physiological as well. Thus this documentry give us a rational thought over the above mentioned problem by covering it physiological and yes, it does makes us to believe that action needs to be taken to deal with climate change.
2. We will be telling the adverse effect of climate change and how this will in return makes the quality of our life poor. I'll be showing the effect of this problem on their income and the future that they have to face if they won't this this problem seriously.
3. I'll be emphasising on climate policies to develop a sustainable society which can behave more effective when consistently embedded within broader strategies designed to make national and regional development paths more sustainable. This occurs because the impact of climate variability and change, climate policy responses, and associated socio-economic development will affect the ability of countries to achieve sustainable development goals.
4. No topic dealt in the class is known hence can't comment on this.
