a) The longest day on the Northern Hemisphere is on summer solstice which is nothing but June Solstice.

b) The longest day on the Equatorial region is when the equator is exactly half the way i.e directly facing sun. That happens in Equinox. So on the equinox there will be largest day at equator.

c) The longest day on the Southern Hemisphere is on winter solstice which is nothing but December Solstice.
