My hometown is a city in Rajasthan state, the capital of the state - Jaipur popularly known as the Pink City of India. The city is known for its heritage property and historicalbuildings like forts, palaces and temples. It has extreme climate,ie, very hot in summers and very cold in winters. It is popularly known as Pink City as most of the government and residential buildings are pink in colour.

The city is densely populated with apopulation of 85 lakhs. Most of the young population is there as many of the young people get migrated from the nearby towns and villages and got settled there. City has got lots of job opportunities for the young people in the field of banking sector, finances, software and Information technology. The male population is much higher compared to female population as the people are still very superstitious and have high female mortality rate.

Tourism industry is growing very fast as it is the most popular tourist destination for the domestic as well as international tourists. Tourists from all over the world visit Jaipur for its heritage properties, palaces and forts.They enjoy the traditional food served over there. The hospitality of the people of Rajasthan is worldwide famous.

Young working families get lots of job opportunities and have got settled in Jaipur from nearby places. Jaipur is a blend of traditional values and modernization and thus people get attracted and migrated to Jaipur. New organizations which promote online marketing and e-commerce are starting in the city which have got much opposition from the local people. Big-basket supplying online fruits, vegetables and grocery is not being taken positively by the local people and faced too much of opposition from the local people.

International Trade and globalization has impacted my hometown to a great extent. Many foreign brands outlet and international companies have set their offices in Jaipur and offer services to the customer. In the begining it was opposed by the local people but now people have got quite adjusted to the new lifestyle and have given their acceptance for the foreign brands.
