Research indicates that people perform better and are more engaged at work when they enjoy coming to work and have good relationships there; spiritual leadership is one such way to encourage work satisfaction and efficacy. Fry (2003) defines spiritual leadership as “the values, attitudes and behaviors that are necessary to intrinsically motivate one’s self and others so that they have a sense of spiritual survival through calling and membership.” How will you be a spiritual leader in your classroom? What values will you bring to the classroom? How do you know this is your calling?

Explanation / Answer

According to the theory of Fry(2003) his approach towards the spiritual leadership is that which has the involvement of various motives,hope,faith,motivation and spiritual survival.The basic reason of this being put into daily lifestyle is for both the follower and the spiritual leader through calling and membership to create a vision and the spiritual leaders contain themselves with certain values,attitude so that they motivate themselves and the followers.

1.Guidance

This would be of inspiration rather than instruction and as a spiritual mentor I would share my experiences and my knowledge to others rather than forcing them to follow and Sharing it is a way of different approach where learning would come to them with the u understanding.

2.Promoting Positive thoughts:

We have the choice of choosing between positive or negative and the spiritual mentors live in the life of spreading love,joy and patience.It is their responsibility to spread it to others and create that positive vibes even in the difficult face of life and I choose this to spread all these to create a spiritual atmosphere.

3.Focus on others Well being:

Instead of being some one who does what everyone is inclined to do I would do things that I naturally feel within which involves my belief and strength and this would show the outcome of a spiritual leader and also helping others to grow with their thoughts and put the best into practise and help them grow.
