6. You are going into a building. It has two entrances that have the same elevation. However, one ramp has a more gentle slope. How would you be able to quickly determine which one has the most gentle slope (without calculating gradient)? 7. DESCRIPTIVE WRITING TASK: This task must be completed with at least one complete paragraph (minimum5 sentences) 1. Explain why your answer in #SA had the steepest gradert (slope), using a visual description and comparison of gradients (mathematical results) o o 2. Explain why there is a need for ramps versus stairs 3. Explain which one you would prefer, a ramp or stairs and explain whyExplanation / Answer
6. The ramp whose length is long or in other words the ramp which is longer have the gentle slope.

1) Question 5 not known.
2) Ramps are used when we use any vechicle or any other object whum we are pushing or pulling. Since rolling, puushing or pulling is not possible on stairs hence we need ramps for these conditions. Apart from this in ramps the whole elevation is equally divided in the entire length of the ramp it's more easy to roll, push or pull things over ramps. Slides can only be made by using ramps, its not possible to slide objects over stairs. Rolling friction is less than static friction and hence we have to apply less force to move things over ramps.
3) I will be prefering ramps over stairs beacuse of the above reasons.
