a. One example of a service that is intangible and not shareable is using your personal vehicle for commuting. For example, if someone owns a car and uses it to travel from home to work and vice versa, this service cannot be shared with other agents during a fixed period of time because it is not a service provided by a government but a personal service purchased by the owner of the vehicle and hence cannot be shared with others.
b. Yes, sharing commonly occurs these days in the prouction of the service mentioned in part a through carpools. Because of the presence of excess capacity in the provision of these kind of services in terms of extra seats available in a personal car, there is a scope of sharing which is realised recently and is being put to practice through several mediums. A car ride from one place to another can be shared with other individuals travelling the same route without affecting each other, this sharing uses the excess capacity or the vacant seats which were underutilized when the car was used privately by the owner only.
