If some members of an audience don't know the meaning of a term that i am using ; I will clear the term for them and will make my speech interesting and understandable.

It is also important to relate a speech to the listener's self interest because as of human nature we want the things which we desire. And the first step to get this is to have discussions for it. Example - any leader put the points in general public interest; insurance policies are framed in such a manner that it covers large section of society.

The topics should be presented in such manner that it looks interesting and covers everyone's desire and need in a systematic way. Example- Solar energy will lead less emissions and reduction in rain forest destruction.
