Hello! Please I need you help with my assignment! This is Introduction to Buisness class. So, i'm not really sure which subject should I choose.

You are an entrepreneur and just started a new business. Use your imagination. Make it up. Maybe it's something you have been thinking about as a possible career path or business proposition.

Please propose a plan for protecting your intellectual property. In your plan, be sure to identify the different types of intellectual property that you are concerned about protecting and what steps you would take for each. Additionally, please consider your competition. What concerns do you have regarding infringing the intellectual property of others?

Explanation / Answer

1) It is a combination of product and service which is in my mind. It would be like a cafe franchise acrosss the town which will solely depend on providing experience to the customer. So the products involve snacks & main course items in a playful setup, where light music would play and people can experience oot makking, art, craft, painting etc.

2) Since I am planning to name it as "Make it Happen", the logo will be abbreviation of the name. The place would be reallly colourful. With peculiar design doors and windows with a bigopen space inside cafe where people can mingle and put their hands in painting, art and craft etc.

3) For my typeof business, I will need trade secret IP will will help me keep the recipe of my cafe exotic products confined only to my place. Trademark IP will be needed to prevent other people using the logo of my business.

4) My close competitor can be starbucks which believe in providing experience which the sole theme of my business. But these IP will help me maintain my USP (unique selling point) so that others wont replicate it. IP cost a bit but the benefit attained for some time period is immense. Your sales will be in place, you will have that unique identity etc.

5) As of now I dont have any other Intellectual property observation, the above mentioned question almost covered all.
