25) Convergent plate boundaries has an oceanic trench along it. Convergent plate boundaries are plate boundary along which lithospheric plates move towards each other and subducted beneath another plate. It moves at rates that vary from a few millimeters to over ten centimeters per year. An oceanic trench is an important geomorphological feature of convergent boundaries which marks the position at which the flexed, subducted slab begins to descend beneath another plates. Those oceanic trenches are generally parallel to a volcanic island arcs.
