Since there is a nation-wide strike by Municipal bus drivers which has made more people to drive their car to work therefore this will result in increase in the Demand for Gasoline in the market while the supply of gasoline will remain to be constant (Because the supply of Gasoline cannot be increased in such a short span)

And whenever there is increase in demand assuming supply to be constant leads to a rightward shift in the demand curve.
This we can easily see in the Figure A wherein the demand curve is shifting rightward from D1 to D2.
