Yes sport athletes have outrageous higher salaries than CEOs of large financial companies.
Athletes in thier professional life have smaller career than other proffesionals. They rarely work above 40 year of age in their athlete life. The CEOs of financial companies can work till the retirement age. Other than short career of athletes they are at very risk of injuries which can end thier career instantly and bear higher risk of small injuries which can sit them of the action and that can affect on thier overall performance. This athlete also pay higher amount of tax than any other person which help country development, also these sports athletes give recognition to nation at global stage which is very important.
