1) Minerals are any naturally occurring inorganic solid substance which is characterized by definite chemical structure and crystal system. Rocks are aggregate of minerals. That means rocks are composed of two or more minerals bonded together.

2) Felsic composition - Silica, Quartz, Feldpsar Eg : Granite, rhyolite

Intermediate composition - mainly Plagioclase and mafic minerals such as hornblende, pyroxene or biotite. Eg: Andesite, diorite

Mafic - Rich in Magnesium and Iron, mafic minerals such as Olivine, Pyroxene, Biotite and Amphibole. Eg; Gabbro, basalt

Ultramafic - High Magneisum and Iron and greater than 90 % mafic minerals. eg: Peridotite, komatite

3) Felsic, intermediate and mafic types of rock are found as both extrusive and intrusive rocks. But ultramfic rocks are found only as plutonic (intrusive rock)

4) Intrusive igneous rocks are characterised by coarse grained texture. Extrusive rocks generally shows fine grained texture.

5) Thinking about plate tectonics, in the mid oceanic ridges or divergent plate boundaries, there will be extrusive rocks. Subsuction zones or convergent plate boundaries are characterised by both intrusive and extrusive rocks. Extrusive rocks in subduction zones are in the form of volcanic islands or island arcs.
