1) Wheat Production = 50bu /acre
Total Production = 2500 × 50 = 125000 bu
Standard weight of wheat per bushel = 60 lbs
Total Weight = 125000 × 60 = 7500000 lbs
2) 1 inch of water per acre = 27000 gallons
10 inch of water in 1 acre = 270000 gallons
3) Standard size of football field = 57600 sq ft
1 acre = 43560 sq ft
Football field = 1.32 acres
Production of corn per football field = 1.32 × 220 = 290.4 bushels
4) US wheat production = 2 million bushels
Wheat grows = 50 bu per acre ( It is around 60 bu but I am taking the value given in Question 1 )
Total area required for US wheat production = 2000000/50 = 40000 acres.
Now 1 football stadium = 104 mn cubic feet which is equal to 240 acre feet.
So 166 football fields would be required.
5) Total Requirement of Wheat in world ( in pounds ) = 200 lbs × 7bn
1 bushels = 60 pounds . So , Total Bushels = (200×7bn) / 60
There are 60 bushels per acre . So , Total area = (200×7bn)/(60×60) = 388888888 acres.
