But when it comes to marketing products in another country you have to get way beyond the stereotypes and delve much deeper into the cultural foundations of that country. The first thing, though, is to recognize the stereotypes you hold and to seek ways to find out much more about the other culture The aim of this exercise is to sensitize students to the stereotypes they hold toward other cultures, and to recognize some of the stereotypes foreigners have about Americans. But there are some things which could be done to get over these stereotypes and make the product a success like making people aware about the features of product through advertisements or offering free samples. This way they might remove some of the stereotypes and start appreciating the product. A proper research should be conducted to understand the problem of the people over there and making the producta success. Best way to conduct such research to come over such obstacles are one can try to establish a brand identity so that the product can be easily distinguished with other proucts, one can also try to understand the needs of the target market and fulfill such needs.
