Answer:
The iron formation of the region are about 2000 million years old, when oxygen got accumulated into sea water and reacted with dissolved iron of sea to made it precipitated. Iron in the form of hematite, limonite and siderite are present. The all given places having iron formation in the form of banding, representing variation of iron content and colour. And these were the product of excessive oxygen supply in the sea or lake water in precambrian time which reacted with present iron content to made it concentrated in the form of layers.
