Advantages

* Through programs which increase our capability to work have long term benefits for goverment as it would be one time expenditure rather than spending every time on transfers to Poor's.

* It will help in development of human capital

* In long run growth depends not on savings and investment rate but on innovation , human capital , technological advancement . So these anti poverty programs will help in development in long run.
