The Juvenile law topic selected is " The work of the Youth Offending Teams" ,this topic covers the work of Youth Offending Team has been made by local authority as a multi ageny team for preventing youth recidivism and incarceration.it helps in reducing the offending and re-offending risk posed by young people, and gives counsel and rehabilitation facilities for the people who do offend.
Youth Offending Team supervise young people for serving in the secure estate and it also organises meetings between offenders and victims for encouraging an apologies and reparation.Youth Offending Teams gives young offenders different tasks which will help the the local communities through unpaid activities and will help in reoffending as well.The team has engaged the young offenders with full-time education which is compulsory for them.
