Question

The treatment of the Jews, I think was far worse in Europe than how we treated the African Americans. We did not put African Americans into camps, send them off on trains to die, or burn them alive. While some African Americans died, not nearly as many died during the time of the Jim Crow laws as the Jews did. While they were not tortured and killed as much they did suffer a lot of prejudice. They were segregated like the Jews were in Europe. In Europe, to distinguish a Jew it was a law they had to wear a star. If you had a star you were not allowed to buy things such as food or just day-to-day items. I personally have not heard of scrutiny between the African-Americans and Jewish-Americans. I know they have close ties since immigration of the Jews and how close they settled to the African Americans in New York City.

Explanation / Answer

The racial discrimination of Jews is the most inhumane in the history. The mere thought of complete eradication of Jews questions the humanity. They were sent to concentration camps and killed. When compared to African Americans, the discrimination against the Jews was so cruel. It's sad to see the that the discrimination is still prevailing in some parts of the world.
