Explanation / Answer

1) Lead in the drinking water cannot be determine easily. it is becasue of the properties of lead that it is tasteless, odourless and the colorless. so to determine if there is a lead is contaminating the water or not, we have to go for the laboratory test for the water sample. after the test of the sample water it is easily able to make us understand that the sample of water containing lead or not.

So to perform the lab test for lead analysis, we have to take to sample of water one is in static condition which reside inside the pipe and the other is in running condition. as the ph of the water is near to 7 so it is neutral. now for the test take the samples in test tubes and add conc. HCl in it. if the sample get traspatrent and smell like sauce then add agcl . after this if it get changes to black then lead is present else not. but for concertration we have to know about the data.
