al Post: Wed 7/19/2017 at 1:23 PM I do recall there being an American Football team that are called the "Red Skins." The team name is a bit of play on a racial slur on Native Americans who are called "red" by the color of their skins. Despite the fact that the name is currently old and now traditional, the name itself is a bit much for a racial quip. However, if treated the same as how Americans (back in the revolutionary war era) reacted to the name, "Yankee." It can be a form of motivation or pride for Native Americans. But otherwise, I was neutral on the petition that happened in the past to change the name of the football team because of the racial slur and because the name was old and changing it would lead to some setbacks on the team. However, Thanksgiving day is the time where the first colonist of Americans from Europe celebrated their arrival of the land with Native Americans, which led to bloodshed months later and suppression of the natives. Events like these is a basic reminder of the suppression these people received.

yes i agree with the passage which is about the against of persons who called red skins to the American footballer team. this is comes under racial quip that calling someone by his skin color. may be this obvious in society but its wrong . it can hurt someone emotionally and it can feel someone that he or she is different from other people or funny. all people are not emotionally strong as others who can accept this racism. we have to change their mentality and this culture as wel to calling red skin to the American footballer team.
goverment shoulod make some l;aws which must be against this racism and make some policies to defend people who's are victims of this racism.
