Explanation / Answer
1.The two layers in earth's mantle are crust and core. The crust is more rocky in nature than the core and it is the uppermost part present.
2.The role of gravity is to separate the plate structures from one another and it also causes earthquake and attracts things to the interior of earth.
3.The effect of gravity on earth's crust is that even though the crust is rocky in nature,when plate movements occur,a separation takes place in the crust layer which causes the rocks to move apart.
4.Cracks are developed in these areas and these cracks extend further when earthquake and other calamities occur causing a huge separation.
5.Volcanic eruptions occur when the mantle portion of earth gets disturbed. This is because mantle portion consists of hot lava and when plate tectonics occur in this area,the mantle portion is disturbed and hot lava starts coming out.
6.Convection currents are created by the tectonic movements. The series of continuous plate movement comprises the convection currents.
7.When the inner core gets disturbed,the fault developed doesn't stop in that particular place and spreads rapidly to the upper parts causing breaking of rocks,etc.
8.The earth's inner core is hot because the upper layer mantle is composed of hot lava. But there is some temperature difference between both and the temperature is comparatively less in inner core which is not sufficient to melt rocks.
