Would my answer be correct if a0 is on the botton, b) would be next, c) located second from top, and d) a champagne cork would float. Is this true? Thank you for your help. jc

Explanation / Answer

The three liquids will form three layers, Ether will be on top, then water layer will come and finally on the bottom mercury will be sedimented.

The cork will float on top of the Ether layer. Accordingly the objects will float from least dense to most dense.
