Astronomy

It is the branch of science which deals with celestial objects, space, and the physical universe as a whole. Astronomy is the oldest of the natural sciences.. It applies mathematics, physics, and chemistry, in an effort to explain the origin of those objects and phenomena and their evolution.  More generally all astronomical phenomena that originate outside Earth's atmosphere is within the perview of astronomy.

Chemistry

It is the branch of science concerned with the substances of which matter is composed, the investigation of their properties and reactions, and the use of such reactions to form new substances.

Geology.

It is an earth science comprising the study of solid Earth, the rocks of which it is composed, and the processes by which they change.

Meteorology

Meteorology is the interdisciplinary scientific study of the atmosphere. It is the branch of science concerned with the processes and phenomena of the atmosphere, especially as a means of forecasting the weather.

Physics

Physics is the natural science that involves the study of matter and its motion and behavior through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force. One of the most fundamental scientific disciplines, the main goal of physics is to understand how the universe behaves.

Aquifer

An aquifer is an underground layer of water-bearing permeable rock, rock fractures or unconsolidated materials (gravel, sand, or silt) from which groundwater can be extracted using a water well. Aquifers may occur at various depths. Those closer to the surface are not only more likely to be used for water supply and irrigation, but are also more likely to be topped up by the local rainfall.

Filtration

Filtration is any of various mechanical, physical or biological operations that separate solids from fluids (liquids or gases) by adding a medium through which only the fluid can pass. The fluid that passes through is called the filtrate. In physical filters oversize solids in the fluid are retained and in biological filters particulates are trapped and ingested and metabolites are retained and removed
