Explanation / Answer

Answer:

1) Avogadro's Hypothesis says,

1 mole of species (like atoms/molecules/ions) = Avogadro's number of species = 6.022 x 1023.

2) On dividing by molar mass or atomic mass to given mass of substance we get conversion from gram to moles.

# of mole(s) = given mass n gram / Molar mass in g

Accordingly we can say,

Mass in grams = Moles x Molar mass or Atomic mass.

3) From Avogadro's hypothesis,

1 Mole = Avogadro's Number 6.023 x 1023.

Hence to achieve conversion from moles to number of species like atoms or molecules,

# of atoms or molecules = # of moles x Avogadro's number = # of moles x 6.023 x 1023.
