The cold war was Waged on political ,economic,and propanganda fronts and had only limited recourse to weapons .During this Cold War ,the US conducted around 1,054 nuclear tests by official count, between1945-91.
The soviet Union lanched the World's first artificial satellit into an elliptical low earth orbit
McCarthyism(1950)
McCarthyism is the practice of making accusations of subversionor treason without proper regard for evidence .The term refers U.S. Senator joseph McCarthy.The most notable examples of McCarthyism include the speeches, investigations and hearings of Senator McCarthy himself .
Korean War(1950-53)
