2. chromosomes condense
3. chromatids arrive at poles; nucleus reforms
4. DNA is unwound; chromatin in nucleus
5. Chromatids align at the equator
6. homologues align at the equator
7. homologues pair; crossing over occurs
here are the matching options:

b. telophase 1
c. metaphase 1
d. prophase 2
e. anaphase 1

g. metaphase 2
h. telophase 2
i. anaphase 2
This is what I got after an hour trying to figure this out. Am i correct?
1. e
2. d
3. i
4. h
5. g
6. c
7. f
Explanation / Answer
I checked it...it looks good. The only thing is that chromosomes condense in Prophase 1 too.In most organisms, the cell goes directly from telophase I to prophase II without the interphase. In organisms having an interphase after meiosis I, the chromosomes condense again. I am not sure if you can use one answer more than once because 7 f is definitely correct. But 2 can also be f.
