1. Nuclear transitions are examined by NMR spectroscopy. When an isolated nuclei (without electron cloud) is placed in external magnetic field, it can be parallel spin (lower energy level) and anti-parallel spin (higher energy level) with respect to external magnetic field. Once irradiates these nuclei with RF radiation under resonance condition the lower energy level nuclei absorbs energy and undergo transition with opposite spin or higher energy level. The absorbed radiation transformed into corresponding NMR signal.

2. The possible structural units are

                 9.28 - Aldehyde group

                 7.50 - Aromatic Proton

3.           5.47 - Olefin proton

               3.94 - O-CH3 group

4.          205 - Carbonyl group

             125 - Olefin

5.        176 – Ester (RCOOR)

            85 -   C-O
