Do you expect their solubility to be more, less or about the same as in a pure water solution ? Explanation / Answer

The HBr will be more soluble than in pure water in presence of magnesium hydroxide, lead iodide and cobalt carbonate. In presence of magnesium hydroxide, lead iodide and cobalt carbonate, the ionic strength decreases and hence increases the solubility to keep the solubility product constant at a particular temperature.

HBr will be less soluble in presence of silver bromide due to common ion effect.
