Ans. Given, molarity of standard NaOH = 0.200 M

Volume of NaOH consumed to reach endpoint = 50.0 mL. (Note: This value is to be determined experimentally/ virtual titration. If the volume of NaOH consumed is not correctly recorder, the calculate value of [HCl] would not be correct, too).

Volume of HCl being titrated = 10.0 mL

# The acid is monoprotic and the base is monobasic. So, at the titration endpoint-

            M1V1 (NaOH) = M2V2 (HCl)

            Or, 0.200 M x 50.0 mL = M2 x 10.0 mL

            Or, M2 = (0.200 M x 50.0 mL) / 10.0 mL

            Hence, M2 = 1.00 M

Therefore, [HCl], M2 = 1.00 M
