there are three variables which include concentration of acetone, concentration of H+ and concentration of I2. So at least three experiments of rate needs to be performed. So the variation of concentration of the reactants acetone, H+ and I2 needs to be determined wtih respect to time and rate has to be cacluated as d[ Acetone]/ dt, d[H+]/dt and d[I2]/dt by taking the difference between concentration at t= 0 and t= t. This gives the rate and this will be used to determine the order with respect to acetone, H+ and I2.
